Ran across an interesting statistic from ASSEMBLY magazine's annual capital equipment spending survey:
Compared with other industries, machinery manufacturers are more likely than manufacturers in other industries to invest in robots, at least for the past three years, anyway. For example, 32% of machinery manufacturers will buy robots next year, compared with 19% of all US assembly plants.
